Pottery painting at Stockeld Park
Looking for a 'children's craft session' or 'children's craft workshop' this Half Term in Wetherby, Leeds, Harrogate or York in Yorkshire?
Mon 25th October 2010 at 11.45am, 1.15pm, 2.45pm, and 4.15pm
Take part in a Half Term pottery painting session led by local potter Jackie Roberts, of Pots of Colour. Choose from a selection of different ceramic pieces including plates, mugs, bowls and ornaments.
Then think about your design and get pottery painting. You can choose from a range of paint colours and effects. Jackie will be on hand to offer advice and support. Pottery painting is easy when you are shown how! Mums and Dads can even join in too!
When you have finished your masterpiece, Jackie will label it, so she knows who's it is, and will take it home to glaze and fire it. You can then collect your pottery from the Christmas Adventure a few days later. If you can't wait that long, some items can be painted and taken home on the same day. Or Jackie can also post items to you for an additional charge.
There will be four session each accommodating 10 children at 11.45am, 1.15pm, 2.45pm, and 4.15pm
Choose from small or large pottery pieces:
Small items £6.50 inc. glazing and firing
Large items £8.00 inc. glazing and firing
Items can be taken home on the day unglazed, collected a few days later from The Christmas Adventure glazed and fired or items can be returning glazed and fired by post for an additional charge.
