The Christmas Adventure is open on Friday 23rd October 2009 for more winter fun!

You don't need to go to Lapland this year for a true Christmas experience. There is something mystical and magical happening at the beautiful setting of Stockeld Park. Our Christmas extravaganza is second to none.

Illuminated unicorns grace the enchanted wood, while angels glow on the beautiful lake. Not far away people skate on the rink at dusk surrounded by towering trees, and in the distance the illuminated maze. is filled with happy chatter. Inside in the warmth people sip on hot chocolate loaded with creamy marshmallows, while others visit Santa in his magical grotto.

In addition to the huge eco ice rink, Santa's Grotto, Ice Bar Cafe, fresh Christmas tree store and Christmas gift shop, you can now visit the Enchanted Wood, a mixture of theatre and fantasy, ski on our nordic cross country ski trail, and lose yourself in our huge illuminated hedge maze, and for the first time ever, you can experience our magnificent firework display.

Winner of the Best Rural Initiative

The Christmas Adventure was awarded first place in the Rural Initiative category of this year's Ackrill Business Awards. The presentation gala dinner, held at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, was attended by over 500 of the region's leading Yorkshire businesses. Peter and Susie Grant the owners of Stockeld Park were delighted to receive the prestigious Harrogate Business Award.
