Skate in Yorkshire

Close to Leeds, Harrogate and York, Yorkshire's most original and beautiful skating rink has arrived in Wetherby. It's 480sq/m and set within the grounds of Stockeld Park's breathtaking country estate.

Why Eco-friendly?
Unless you live in Siberia, real ice rinks require huge amounts of energy to create the ice. Our ice rink uses no power at all, other than what you exert when you skate! Using the latest technology our eco-friendly skating rink creates an authentic ice skating experience, but is rather more forgiving than real ice for the novice skater.
Whether you are an able skater or have never skated before, you are sure to have lots of fun on the rink. Remember you are never too old to try something new! Our friendly team of skate marshals are always on hand to help!
What to wear?
It is essential that you wrap up warm on the rink. We advise all skaters to wear warm layered clothing and if possible a waterproof jacket. Gloves and thick socks are also advisable. Gloves will be available to hire for 50p.
Each skating session lasts one hour, and skates are included in the price.
Please note: No children under 4 years old may skate. Children between 4 and 8 years old must be accompanied on the rink by an adult.
Skates
Our Italian designer new Roces skates are provided as part of the hire charge. The skates are a ski boot style with quick fastening buckles as opposed to the traditional lace up skates, with children's sizes being adjustable.Sizes range from Child Size 8 to Adult Size 13
