I went for a day out with my dad,we went on the adventure trail it was great fun, we stopped for a hot chocolate, then i went iceskating i found it very hard until i got a bit of practice then i found that i had got better than when i stepped on to the ice, then me and my dad looked in the shop. we would have done more activities but found it quite expensive and my dad hasn't got a lot of money but had a great time anyway Jan 2009

Visited the enchanted wood with my 4 year old yesterday, it was magical,I got just as carried away as she did with the whole spectacle.Loved it all and can totally recommend it for young and old, just a shame we have to wait till the end of the year to go again. (1 Jan 2010)

Went last night with my wife and two children 9 and 14. Did the maze - difficult but fun, and then we went round the Enchanted Wood. It was fantastic. You could see how much work and creativity had gone into it. We loved the talking tree and the outside musical instruments. If you are expecting Disney then this is not for you - but if you are imaginative then this is just the best. (29 December 2009)

I visited on christmas Eve 2009. It had been snowing hard and that made it very christmassy. Saw Santa in his grotto which was pretty and he gave the children alot of time, not straight in and out like some santa's. The cuddly toy was cute but a bit disappointing considering I had paid 19.50 for three children and they all got the same small stuffed animal. We walked in the enchanted wood. The snow made it beautiful but apart from the very basic displays it was pretty much just a walk in the woods. The cross country skiing looked like fun but my children were too young and we'd already payed nearly forty pounds for a visit with santa and one activity.(there were three children aged 7, 4, 3 and one adult) There was a man on duty in the car park with a shovel to dig anyone out who got stuck in the snow who was lovely and santa's 2 helpers were very friendly. The rest of the young staff however would benefit from some customer relation training before next year. All in all a pleasant day out but beware it could turn out to be a very expensive walk in the woods.

Even with older teenage daughters, this was truly magical. We ski-d round the enchanted wood-hard work but thoroughly enjoyed it-did the snowflake maze-great fun-the xmasshop has gorgeous stuff and no tack in sight hurray!-but the icing on the cake was the skating-were there late at night and had a whole hour virtually to ourselves- worth every penny, a great work out and exhilarating for us all - will defo be coming back! 23.12.2009

Absoulutley outstanding i visited the christmas adventure resently and must say it is specatacluar Santa in santas grotto is so friendly and the grotto is decorated brilliantley. The Synthetic Ice-Skating ring was really good for kids beacuse if you fell it didnt hurt as the rink is made of plastic. The Enchanted Wood Was Out Of This World All Of my Family thought it was amazing and we recommend it to any family! I will definatley be coming back next year 23.12.2009
