Discover the magic in The Enchanted Forest
Our Illuminated Enchanted Forest is open from 23rd October 2013 for Half Term, throughout November and December until 6th January 2014.
Why wait until then, experience daytime adventure play in the Enchanted Forest at our brand new Summer Adventure open 20th July 2013 until 1st September 2013.
The Enchanted Forest is the central part of the The Christmas Adventure at Stockeld Park, close to Wetherby, Harrogate, York and Leeds.

The 1.2km trail which winds its way through ancient woodland is a mixture of theatre and fantasy and is illuminated at night by a host of spectacular light effects.
Choose to walk or don a pair of Nordic skis to make your journey around the Enchanted Forest, where you will meet magical characters and mystical animals along the way.
A 20ft grimacing troll is waiting as you enter through the spooky gates, and not far away is Merlin the Wizard who stands glorious in his spectacular cloak, illuminated by hundreds of sparkling lights. Sneak a look into his mystical spell book and press the magic button to hear the spell which will help you find your way.
But watch out, not all the trees stand still, there could be one that takes you by surprise!
As you reach the heart of the wood you will discover a beautiful lake, illuminated by colour changing light effects. At the waters edge you will see parading flamingos, grazing deer and Christmas geese, and hovering on the waters surface are ethereal angels lit with LED lights that sparkle and reflect.
In addition, to new interactive pieces in the forest, walkers can make their own magical sounds on new large- scale woodland instruments.

The Enchanted Forest near Harrogate and Leeds is a mixture of theatre and fantasy. The Enchanted Forest is illuminated with a host of superb lighting effects. As you walk round you will come across illuminated creatures of the wood, as well as stunning tableaux and enchanted figures. You cannot come to the The Christmas Adventure without seeing it.
Please note: The Enchanted Forest is suitable for all ages groups. Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Entry is free for children under 3 years old.
