A FREE Christmas Musical at Stockeld Park
Come and join us on Saturday 26th November 2011 from 3.00pm and see a live musical show to get all the family in the Christmas spirit.

1950s American ‘Street Corner Soul’, like Barbershop before it, was a truly organic and accessible way to come together and make music.
It's massive popularity gave birth to Doo-Wop, which, in turn evolved into Bebop and Early Rock ‘n’ Roll. The vast influence of these styles can be seen in the work of the Four Seasons, Dion & the Belmonts, Frankie Lyman & the Teenagers and The Platters, to name a few.
A time before popular music changed forever, when the emphasis of the music was quite simply the voice. The T Tones are an acapella quartet, who were founded as a result of a love of these 50s harmonies.
Performing with a dynamism and energy that might only come from a family group which can rely on intuition, they cover such 50s classics as ‘Life Could be a Dream’, ‘Earth Angel’, ‘In the Still of the Night’ and ‘Blue Moon’, among many others.
They sound and look authentically 50s and have been described as: “...the missing track from a Scorsese movie...” and “...offering a genuine glimpse of a decade of unparalleled cool...” and they will be entertaining here at Stockeld Park on Saturday 26th November with their Christmas repertoire.
