Children in Need Great Nordic Ski-athon on 20th November
A huge well done to everyone who took part in the Children in Need Skiathon last Friday. Team Stockeld raised over £300 in a ski relay and the total amount raised by visitors will be updated shortly!
Looking for something to do for Children in Need 2009? Are you looking to take part in a Children in Need 2009 event! Why not get fit, raise funds and get your school, family and friends involved! Yes, that includes you Mum and Dad! 
For the second year running, Stockeld Park will be hosting the Great Nordic Ski-athon from 4.30pm on Friday 20th November, on Children in Need night. Every penny raised will make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged children in the UK.
The Challenge
The challenge is to complete as many full laps as you can around the 1.2km ski track. Skiers are able to set off anytime between 4.30pm and 8pm. Whether you complete only one lap or manage to do many more, your registration fee will go to charity and the taking part is what counts!
How to enter
To take part, get down to Stockeld Park from 4.30pm onwards, dressed in suitable sportswear. All registration fees can be paid on the day and will go to Children in Need.

Schools and teams are welcome to take part earlier in the day by contacting us in advance to confirm a time slot.

Put up a poster

Order your Children in Need Ski Hoodie
This year you can also order a Great Nordic Ski Hoodie, which are available in all sizes and cost £19.99 each. £5 from every hoodie sold will be donated to Children in Need. Orders must be placed in advance of the event.
